I Can Has Cheezburger Kitty in Rehab

The cost of celebrity can be high and no one knows it better that the I Can Has Cheezburger Kitty.

Once just an ordinary kitty, he was plucked from anonymity when the website I Can Has Cheezburger literally took off overnight.

Instantly, he was an internet celebrity. Invited to all the best parties and given all the free booze and drugs he could handle - the young, impressionable kitty never really stood a chance.

It started with catnip, the gateway drug for all kitties, and then it escalated to booze, coke, speed, meth and finally heroin. The kitty quickly became an addict.

It soon started affecting his work. The kitty was barely conscious at demanding website photoshoots, which required him to act as if everything was okay.

Deep down inside, though, the little kitty was dying. Barely able to muster a smile at the shoots or employ his winning personality, the I Can Has Cheezburger Kitty was spiraling out of control.

Just last week he hit rock bottom, when he was driving his Porsche at high speeds down PCH. Out of his mind on meth, he hit a turn at 90 mph, lost control and flipped through the air five times.

Fortunately, the car landed perfectly on its feet and the Kitty walked away without a scratch.

Once sober, the Kitty checked himself into rehab.

Now the I Can Has Cheezburger Kitty takes life one day at a time. The road to recovery is a long one.
