This week, Dr. Phil wins The Fug's coveted position of Dickhead of the Week!

Yeah, Dr. Phil!

His shameless efforts to secure an exclusive interview with Mercades Nichols, the ringleader of the group of Florida teens who arranged a beatdown of a girl to post on YouTube, earns him this honor.

Turns out, the man who offers advice to millions, paid the bail of Mercades just to have access to her side of the story.

How's that for some clear-headed thinking. Kudos to you, Dr. Phil!

Can't wait to hear her side of the story. It should make some great TV.

On a totally depressing, but related note: Parade Magazine ran their annual "What People Earn" issue and it turns out that Dr. Phil makes a whopping 90 million a year.

Now that's something to make a person gag.
