Why so angry? Daniel Plainview is an angry, angry man; prone to shooting and bashing peoples' heads in. There's only one problem: Where is it all coming from? At the beginning of the film, Daniel seems fairly normal, a decent father and an able businessman, and then he does a 180. Really don't have a clue as to why. In the role of Plainview, Daniel Day Lewis is excellent, just wish I could say the same thing about the script.
