Best Performance by Male With Strangely Large Head Goes To...

As expected, Javier Bardem took home the award for Best Performance by Male With a Strangely Large Head, for his work in No Country for Old Men.

No one else was nominated in the category.

In the film he plays an assassin, whose desire to kill is only eclipsed by the size of his enormous head. His performance is mesmerizing and in large part due to the overwhelming presence of his gigantic cranium.

Said one critic, “I’ve never seen an actor’s head fill the screen the way Javier’s did, it is an astonishing achievement and sure to launch him into even bigger, headier roles.”

Javier thanked his mother and of course his father, whose head is outrageously huge.

SAG hopes to create even more awards next year for actors that bring such unique and rare qualities to the screen.
